Founded in 2008, Elex's goal was always the global market. Now Elex is the benchmark for internationalization among Chinese internet companies. Currently employing 500 people divided amongst the Beijing headquarters and other offices around China; including Hefei, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taiwan as well as one Brazillian office in Sao Paolo. Elex strongly believes that China's manufacturing and other innovations will be become more accessible for the rest of the world as internationalization of the Chinese online industry continues.

Elex CEO Tang Binsen was named by Forbes Magazine in the "Entrepreneurial Elites under 30" list. Having started his business during his postgraduate years, he has led Elex in within just 4 years to become China's largest social games and internet product disctributor.

Tang Binsen, the CEO of ELEX was named the pioneer of Chinese new generation entrepreneurship by Beijing Zhongguancun Science Park.

Elex was listed among the top 100 new enterprises in Zhongguancun by Beijing's municipal government and cooperative strategic emerging industries and modern service industry representational company by Beijing Government.

ENTREPRENEURIAL ELITES UNDER 40

Elex CEO Tang Binsen was listed among 40 “Business Elites Under 40 in 2010” by Global Entrepreneur magazine. This young entrepreneur who started his business in the basement instead of using the salary to travel around the world has a strong sense of mission: ‘As a Chinese company, we cannot leave channels to foreigners, if we cannot do well, Chinese companies will become 'Made in China'’.

XING CLOUD

The idea of “Xing Cloud” project emerges gradually. ELEX hopes to build a service platform not only includes access, but also provides front engine, backend cloud storage, server operation and maintenance, and analysis systems, etc., so that Chinese social game company can tap into overseas market at the lowest cost and fastest speed.

2009

TAKING ON EUROPEAN AND AMERICAN CORPORATE TITANS AND ESTABLISHING INDEPENDENT DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS

ELEX was the first in the industry to create its own game distribution team to disrupt the monopoly that European and American companies had on social network gaming. This team overcame difficulties like cross-national payment and customer service to become the first independent distributor of a self-developed game in China's history of network game companies. Afterwards, ELEX used its own distribution capabilities to help send many Chinese game companies overseas, creating a new wave in network game internationalization in the industry.

2008

ELEX STARTUP

Elex designed an application for Xiaonei (now known as Renren). In Renren's 'creative programming' competition, Elex was able to win first prize within the 'character label' category. Despite Elex's help, they were not able to change the plight of Renren's profits, however, they were able to catch the attention of their parent company Thousand Oaks. Elex then cooperated with Thousand Oaks to develop games for their online platform, Ka Xin Wang. Soon Tang Binsen realised the enormous potential of social games and thus Elex began it's journey into expanding into the overseas market.
